Lukas started contributing to Debian in 2011 as part of the DebianFSO team. In 2020 he started working on Ubuntu for Canonical and just recently became a full Debian Developer in 2023. He's the maintainer of Netplan.io
Netplan is a utility for network configuration on Linux systems. You create a description of the required interfaces and define how each should be set up.
It meets the need for easy, declarative network configuration in YAML across a versatile set of server, desktop, cloud or IoT installations.
It is useful for administrators of Linux systems who want to use a common network configuration, controlling different backends like NetworkManager or systemd-networkd.
